On January 28, Megan’s father, Chris Thompson went to be with the LORD after a 7 year battle with lung cancer. While only 56, Chris lived an amazing life, serving the LORD, serving his family, and serving this nation in both the Navy and Army. In the midst of his battle with cancer,Chris created a character, Dr. Quirky, where he would do science experiments, and incorporate a gospel message to children with them. His impact was profound, because he used his passion for science, combined it with his passion to reach young people for Jesus, and when coupled together, the miraculous took place.
Shawn and Megan look forward to the opportunity to do the same in Uganda and thesurrounding nations in the Great Lakes Zone. They long to see the youth of the nation knowJesus, and will use their passions to open doors to reach each one they come in contact with.
