We have finally surpassed the halfway point of our fundraising journey! Though we have enjoyed sharing our calling with churches, friends and family, we are eager to begin the work in which God has called us to.
Speaking of calling… In the beginning of our journey in 2017, all we knew was that God was calling us to serve in Africa. We were not sure of which country we were going to go to, or even what we would be doing once we got there. We just knew that we needed to take a step of faith and submit our application for missions.
Since that time, God has grown our hearts for the continent of Africa and more specifically the Great Lakes Zone (Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi). Over the last few weeks, through meetings with our leadership and other team members, he has given us clarity, vision and the beginnings of a strategic plan.
Shawn and I will be serving the Great Lakes Zone from Uganda. We will be traveling to Rwanda to teach in the bible school. We have a goal of arriving on the continent in January. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us through your prayers and finances to make that dream a reality?
